Ibercaja Foundation

The Ibercaja Foundation (Fundación Bancaria Ibercaja) is a private non-profit organisation proceeding from the transformation of the Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de Zaragoza, Aragón y Rioja, a philanthropic-social institution founded by Real y Excma. Sociedad Económica Aragonesa de Amigos del País, approved by Royal Order on 28 January 1873 and beginning its activities on 28 May 1876.

The Foundation aims to create, carry out and promote social and cultural projects that foster development in its field of activity, as well as to properly manage its participation in Ibercaja Bank.

The Social Projects of the Ibercaja Foundation focus mainly on groups that are suffering the impact of the crisis the most: the unemployed, the young and those most in need, without neglecting the world of culture and our historical and environmental heritage.
