The mockery of the reflection

Lita Cabellut is an internationally renowned contemporary artist known for her monumental portraits. She creates large-scale paintings on canvas depicting figures in a photorealistic style, using a contemporary variation of the fresco technique, from which she deliberately peels away parts of the paint layer to create a crackled effect.
