On Foot
The museum is located in Zaragoza's historic centre, just a short walk from landmarks such as Plaza del Pilar and Plaza de España.
From the heart of the city, the walk takes between 3 and 10 minutes, depending on your starting point.
By Tram
Zaragoza Tram Line L1 connects many areas of the city. The nearest tram stop is Plaza España / Plaza del Pilar (Murallas), approximately a 4-minute walk from the museum.
From there, continue on foot through the historic centre towards Santiago's Street.
By Bus
Bus stops near the museum:
- Coso No. 55 / Teatro Principal – approx. 2-minute walk.
- Coso No. 62 – 2 minutes.
- Coso No. 66 – 2 minutes.
- Coso No. 80 – 3 minutes.
- Plaza de Ariño – 3 minutes.

For the most direct access, visitors usually use the stops around Coso and Plaza de España.
By Bicycle or Scooter
Zaragoza has the Bizi public bicycle hire service, with stations located throughout the city. You can use the station nearest the historic centre and walk the remaining few minutes to the museum. The Old Town also offers bicycle racks and designated scooter parking areas, making it easy to continue your journey on foot.
If you are travelling with your own bicycle, public bike racks are available close to the historic centre.

Recommended Parking
On-street parking in Zaragoza's historic centre is very limited and is generally regulated by the ORA parking system. We recommend using one of the nearby public car parks and walking a few minutes to the museum.
- Plaza del Pilar Car Park – centrally located and within easy walking distance.
- Other underground car parks around the city centre (such as San Vicente de Paúl or San Juan de los Panetes), offering convenient access to the Old Town.
Please note that traffic restrictions may apply in the historic centre (Low Emission Zones or restricted-access areas), particularly for non-residents.
For this reason, parking in a nearby public car park and continuing on foot or by bicycle is usually the most convenient option.
From the Railway Station
- By public transport, one option is to take a city bus from Zaragoza-Delicias Station to P.º Echegaray y Caballero / Hospedería, then walk to the museum (the journey takes approximately 20–25 minutes).
- You can also take a taxi (around 8–10 minutes) or, if you prefer to walk, the distance is approximately 3.2 km (35–40 minutes).
