Artistic analysis

This artist used to paint his landscapes in small formats, as we can see in the canvas before us. This rugged landscape features a meadow through which a path winds, down which a horse and its rider descend to the waters of a pond where they quench their thirst. In the background, we can glimpse a church, bushes, trees and a sky with varied shades of light. It consists of a meadow with some bare patches; in the background, bushes and trees.
