Artistic analysis
This work by the aragonese painter depicts a landscape at dawn, rendered with impasto and sketchy brushstrokes, as it was likely one of his studies that would later be developed into a finished painting. The lower half of the canvas depicts green countryside and the silhouettes of a village, whilst the upper half features an imposing sky in which blue clouds mingle with orange hues.
